It features a boy named Hiccup Haddock who learns that friendship with a dragon will change both of their worlds forever. How to Train Your Dragon (HTTYD) is a Dreamworks franchise based on the book series by Cressida Cowell. Watching my friend's stream showed me the goodness I'm missing. ![]() The development team made the announcement on Facebook as well as other channels. Why? Because the game is going to leave the internet forever on June 30, after ten years. One of my friends, however, decided to stream the best aspects of the franchise's School of Dragon game in June. Having Hiccup and Toothless on the big screen seemed enough. ![]() It's already been renewed through at least 2027, so it's not going anywhere for a while, even after 26 seasons on the air.While I am a huge fan of How to Train Your Dragon, I never really played the games. Since originally launching on Comedy Central in 1997, the animated series has been one of television's most popular shows. Returning to video games is just another way for the South Park franchise to continue its success. South Park Returns to the Video Game World The most recent game to be released inspired by South Park was the 2017 mobile game South Park: Phone Destroyer. Both published by Ubisoft, the former was developed by Obsidian Entertainment while Ubisoft San Francisco developed the latter. Perhaps the most notable up to this point are 2014's South Park: The Stick of Truth and its 2017 sequel, South Park: The Fractured but Whole.
